Guess what? The anticipation has reached its peak! Netflix just spilled the beans that the head-spinning show, Alice in Borderland, is coming back for a third round. This show, which brings Haro Aso’s manga to life, grabbed folks from all over the globe with its cool survival challenges mental twists, and eye-popping pictures.
A recap for Season 1 & 2:

Arisu, who’s not too high-spirited, and his crew end up in an empty Tokyo they soon call the Borderland. To stay alive, they gotta join in on lethal games shown by playing cards, with stuff from tough tasks to really tricky riddles. They form squads with other players – a few are reliable, while some aren’t trying to sort through risky deals and double-crosses. Going forward, they start to get the hang of the Borderland figuring out it’s a side world tied to a real-life catastrophe. The first season hits its peak with the games getting harder, and they have to say goodbye to some pals along the way.
In the second season, Arisu and Usagi have teamed up to take on the last set of tough face card challenges. They square off against the tricky Queen of Hearts Mira, in a battle loaded with mental games. We get to know where the Borderland comes from, and the folks who made it through the rough times get a tough pick: either head back to the normal world and forget the crazy stuff they’ve been through, or hang around. Most of them opt to go back home. But then, boom, we see a Joker card at the end, and it’s like, “Uh-oh maybe this whole mess isn’t wrapped up after all,” since it looks like there’s still some secret stuff going on.
Looking Ahead to Season 3

Season 3’s heading into new territory since the manga’s tale got told in the first couple of seasons. Netflix’s pretty hush-hush, but they dropped a hint saying the next season’s gonna dive deep into the characters’ fight to stay alive in a strange place. Looks like Arisu and the gang might bump into fresh troubles and puzzles the manga never showed us.

Fans got all curious when they saw the Joker card pop up as Season 2 wrapped up. In the manga, this Joker dude’s super secret and kinda runs the show. Could be that in Season 3, we’ll see the Joker step up as the big bad or maybe the key to cracking the Borderland’s secrets.
Cast for Season 3
Heads up folks! Netflix gave the green light for Kento Yamazaki and Tao Tsuchiya to get back into the shoes of Arisu and Usagi. Cool, right? And guess what, players like Nijiro Murakami might come back as Chishiya, with Ayaka Miyoshi showing up as Ann and Aya Asahina maybe sliding back as Kuina.
When’s It Dropping
So, about when you can binge-watch Alice in Borderland Season 3, there’s no exact day circled on the calendar yet. But chill, Netflix let slip it’s gonna drop in September 2025.
