The story is, in the first year, based on Denji’s life. Denji suffers due to his father’s yakuza debts, then becomes a Devil Hunter, working in collaboration with his devil friend Pochita. His death at the hands of one of the Zombie Devils results from several creations that are created due to human fear, and after reviving and merging with Pochita, he becomes a very powerful Chainsaw Man. By pulling on the ripcord attached to his head, he gets a body built from a chainsaw.

Most of the opening season revolved around the training of Denji as a Public Safety Devil Hunter, whom he teamed up with Aki, Power, Himeno, and Kobeni in battling the strong devils, including Bat Devil, Ghost Devil, and Katana Man. Therefore, the first season is expected to cover the first 38 chapters of the manga. Thus, for those keen on reading further, it is believed that the next film is going to start from chapter 39.

Chainsaw Man Movie Cast: Who’s Coming Back for the Reze Arc?

As expected, the primary cast will likely reappear as they are the centerpieces of the show with Denji, voiced by Kikunosuke Toya, Makima, voiced by Tomori Kusunoki, Kobeni, voiced by Karin Takahashi, Power, voiced by Fairouz Ai, and Aki, voiced by Shogo Sakata.
