From! That show just keeps us guessing, doesn’t it? As a fellow obsessive who spends way too much time dissecting every frame and whispered word, I’ve been drowning in theories for Season 4. The deeper we get into that creepy town, the more layers it seems to have. Let’s break down some of the juiciest predictions floating around, because honestly, I can’t keep them to myself!
Echoes of the Past: Tabitha, Jade, and a Cycle of Sacrifice

You know how some shows just feel like they have a deeper, ancient history? From is absolutely one of them, and that’s why the reincarnation theory for Tabitha and Jade has me hooked. Imagine them as these old souls, linked from the very beginning, maybe even from the moment those horrifying creatures first clawed their way into existence.
Here’s the really heartbreaking part: what if one of those children in town, especially the one who knelt before Tabitha and whispered “remember,” was their daughter in a past life? My mind immediately goes to the possibility that Tabitha and Jade were around when the monsters started their whole “sacrifice kids to live forever” thing. And in a defiant, gut-wrenching move, they refused to give up their own child. The consequence? They, and their kid, were murdered, only to be reborn again and again, compelled to return to this cursed place to save the children they couldn’t protect way back when. It’s a tragic, beautiful, and utterly compelling idea. Plus, it would explain why so many of the original folks who did give in to the monsters now are the monsters. Chilling!
And if Tabitha truly is the reincarnated Miranda, that would make her Victor’s mom. Can you imagine the relief for him? All that trauma, all that guilt he carries… a revelation like that could finally start to heal him. Oh, and one more thing: wouldn’t it be great if everyone finally just talked to each other? No more secret club meetings with different pieces of the puzzle. Just imagine the breakthroughs if they actually started sharing notes!
The Man in Yellow Jacket: Who is He, and What Does He Want?

The Man in Yellow Jacket? He’s a riddle wrapped in a mystery, and frankly, he gives me the creeps. My head’s spinning with a couple of big theories about him.
First up, there’s the idea that Julie is a time traveler, desperately trying to save her dad from this “big bad” – the Man in Yellow. Ethan’s comment about story travelers not being able to change the past hits hard here, suggesting Julie might be stuck in a loop, reliving her failure. Talk about heartbreaking!
But then there’s the other theory, the one that makes me gasp: what if the Man in Yellow is actually Christopher, the guy Victor remembers talking to the doll, the one who started changing and becoming scary? Given that both reincarnation and time travel are clearly on the table in this show, it’s entirely plausible that the Man in Yellow is the original Christopher. Maybe his unsettling arguments with the Boy in White, which Victor witnessed, were because he’d just stumbled upon this horrifying truth about himself.
And what’s his deal? He seems like pure evil, wanting nothing more than to keep everyone ignorant and trapped. He always pops up when people get too close to the truth, or right after a big discovery. After Jade played that creepy song and Tabitha remembered stuff, who shows up? Mr. Yellow Jacket. His ability to move freely during the day, unlike the nocturnal monsters, makes him a seriously dangerous threat. He can just waltz right into the lives of the residents, undetected, and mess things up. If this theory holds, Season 4 just got a whole lot scarier.
“Anghkooey” and the Call of the Sea

When we learned “Anghkooey” meant “remember,” I was like, “Okay, cool, profound.” But then a theory popped up that sent shivers down my spine: what if it’s a mash-up of “anchor aweigh“? That nautical term, used when a ship’s anchor is being lifted, ready for departure, suddenly makes so much sense with all the boat stuff we’ve seen. Boyd getting a boat, that mysterious lighthouse… it all fits.
It also makes me wonder: if the monsters speak English, why are the kids using this other language? It points to something much older, much more deeply rooted. All these maritime clues could mean a boat is the key to escaping this nightmare town. While this theory ties up a lot of loose ends, part of me worries it might make the initial “remember” reveal feel a bit less impactful. But then again, maybe it just adds another layer to it!
Julie and the Talismans: A Predestined Loop?

The Talismans, those little stone shields that keep the monsters out – how did they even get there? Season 1 showed Boyd just stumbling upon them, which always felt a little… convenient, right? Well, a really fascinating theory suggests that Julie herself created them. With her knowledge of the Talismans in the present and the whole time travel element, it’s totally plausible she went back in time and left them for Boyd to find.
If Julie always created them, it wouldn’t be changing the past; it would be fulfilling a predestined loop. It neatly explains away a big mystery that’s been lingering since day one. The big question, though, is how Julie, as she currently is, would have the power to infuse those engravings with protection. But hey, this is From, and strange powers are always on the menu for Season 4!
The Return of Eloise: A Family Reunited?

This is one that tugs at the heartstrings. There’s a strong theory that Eloise Kavanaugh might actually still be alive. Victor’s memories of the massacre are so traumatic, and we’ve seen he doesn’t always remember things perfectly (like with Christopher and the Boy in White). So, his recollection of only finding “pieces” of Eloise could be a distorted memory, maybe even of another victim.
Victor himself mentioned Eloise was “always good at playing hide and seek,” which makes me wonder if she’s just really good at hiding, perhaps in that settlement where the wooden statues were found. With Victor’s dad confirmed alive, and Tabitha being his reincarnated mother, it would be incredibly powerful, and perfectly From-esque, to see a reunion of the entire Kavanaugh family in Season 4. Talk about a bittersweet moment!
